How is the Medal score in the MotoTally results determined?

From the MotoTally manual: “If the racer’s score is within 10% of the winner of the class, then they receive a “Gold” medal. For example, if the winner of the class has a score (in seconds) of 1000, a racer with a score of 1100 or less gets a Gold medal. A “Silver” medal is given to those within 30% of the winner of the class, and a “Bronze” medal is given for all other finishers.”
